RO unit hook up?

We just moved. Our new house has a well and a water softener. My question is...can my RO unit be hooked up to the water lines that come from the water softener? Thanks!

I have done both, and have not really noticed much of a difference except the TDS which makes sense. Depending on the RO unit I would think you would be fine. Mine has been running two years now after my softner using the green morton bags..

Hi,

It's actually recommend by most RO manufactures to install after the water softner, so that should be fine. It's suppose to increase your membrane life as well.
