The good Drs. Foster and Smith say on their website that this will work for "aquariums up to 250 gallons", but I believe this may be a bit of a stretch. I used this in the small sump of my 55 gallon FOWLR tank for approximately 5-6 months before building a larger DIY sump to accomodate a refugium, larger volume water return, and a larger skimmer while converting my tank to a mixed reef. I've kept this one, intending to use it for a back up which I have just never done since I bought the Euroreef RS135. So this is now being sold to help fund my other really expensive hobby (photography).
I made one small mod to this that you can see in the pics (link below). It can easily be un-modded (is that a word?). I did this just to shorten the horizontal supply pipe which made the footprint about 2 inches smaller in one dimension. If you intend to use this as a hang-on model, you'll want to un-mod this (or I can). If you intend to use it in your sump, it works like a champ. The pump runs very strong and this skimmer produces a nice head of thick, nasty, dry (or wet) skimmate. I can email better pics if interested. All original parts are included, as well as the instruction manual (its around here somewhere), but not the original box.
You can see pics here:

including a full length shot, pic of the shortened supply pipe, and one of the skimmer "in action".
I paid $269 for it, but asking $149. I live on the NW side of Indy and can arrange for local pickup or shipping. Please PM me if interested, and thanks for looking!
