Anemone ate my 2 clownfish

Has anyone had their Clownfish either killed or eaten by a Condylactis Anemone? I know they are not natural hosts for the Clownfish, but I never thought that the anemone would eat them. My Condylactis Anemone is white and after my clownfish disappeared I picked the anemone up and you could see the body and fin of the clownfish inside the anemone :(
